Divo Yacht is delighted to announce the central-agency brokerage listing of M/Y PROVIDENCE, a 35-metre custom flybridge motor yacht built in aluminium by the Spanish shipyard Mefasa in 1993 and comprehensively refitted in 2004. Asking price is EUR 900,000 VAT paid and the yacht is lying ready for viewing in the Mediterranean under the Malta flag, port of registry Valletta.
Don Shead exterior, Javier Sitges interior
Providence was conceived as a serious blue-water private motor yacht. Exterior styling and naval architecture come from the late Don Shead Yacht Design, one of the great British motor yacht designers responsible for some of the most enduring planing aluminium hulls of the late twentieth century. The interior, executed in hand-polished mahogany, brushed brass and white marble, is the work of Javier Sitges and pairs classical English yacht-club detailing with Spanish craftsmanship throughout the saloon, dining room, full-beam master and four further guest cabins.
Layout for 10 guests in 5 staterooms
Below decks, Providence accommodates ten guests across five en-suite staterooms. The full-beam owner's suite incorporates a private study, a Chesterfield sitting area, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with double vanity and a separate walk-in shower. A double VIP cabin and three further en-suite guest cabins (mix of double and twin layouts) line the lower deck. Crew accommodation seats five with a separate captain's cabin and private access, satisfying long-cruising operational needs.
Twin MTU power, 4,000 nm range
Twin MTU 12V 396 TE84 diesels of 1,950 hp each drive Providence to a top speed of 22 knots and a relaxed displacement-style cruise of 15 knots. With 54,000 litres of fuel on board she has a long-range capability of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, comfortable transatlantic territory. Hydraulic fin stabilizers, a hydraulic bow thruster and a reverse-osmosis water maker round out the auxiliary inventory.
Flybridge, alfresco dining and 5.2 m tender
Outdoor living is one of Providence's defining strengths. The teak-laid flybridge carries an upper helm station, a full-size personal watercraft on chocks, sun lounging and a Jacuzzi; the aft deck seats ten around a formal alfresco dining table; and the forward deck offers a private sun pad. A 5.2-metre Zodiac tender is launched from the flybridge.
Bureau Veritas class, ready to view
Providence carries Bureau Veritas classification and was originally delivered as Xargo VII, later sailing as Angel Heart before becoming Providence under her current Maltese ownership. The 2004 refit covered repaint, full interior soft-furnishings, navigation electronics and audio-visual systems. The yacht is presented in turn-key condition and is offered for inspection at her current Mediterranean berth on request.
