Divo Yacht's head office sits in Porto Maurizio, the western half of Imperia on Italy's Ligurian coast. The address is Via Sant'Antonio, 2, a few minutes on foot from the marina and from Porto Maurizio's historic centre. This is where our brokerage, management and technical teams work day to day, and where every new client relationship begins.
Where we are
Imperia is roughly an hour east of Monaco and ninety minutes west of Genoa. Porto Maurizio, the older of the city's two halves, looks out over a compact harbour sheltered by the Molo Sud and the Molo Lungo; the waterfront runs directly below our offices. The city sits inside the Ligurian arc of sheltered coastline that stretches from the French border to Tuscany, with the Alps and Apennines at its back and a protected, deep-water sailing ground in front. Both our offices are within ten minutes of either our home berths or the main working shipyards of western Liguria.
A working waterfront office
The Porto Maurizio office is deliberately a working office rather than a showroom. You will typically find our team on the phone with yards, reviewing survey reports, or walking clients through new-build specifications. A dedicated meeting area is set aside for pre-purchase reviews, MOA signings, and in-depth client consultations, but the day-to-day culture is hands-on and informal. Clients who visit often spend part of their time in the office and part of it down on the docks, looking at a yacht in person.
Porto Maurizio's maritime heritage
Porto Maurizio's relationship with the sea goes back several centuries. The district grew around olive-oil export, fishing and Mediterranean trade, and the harbour has been in continuous use since the medieval period. Today the marina serves a mix of cruising yachts, classic sailing boats and contemporary motor yachts; the protected basin, the mild year-round climate and the town's position on a direct line between the French Riviera and the Italian coast make it one of the most practical wintering and working bases in the Mediterranean for yachts up to around 45 metres. Larger tonnage crosses to Ventimiglia, La Spezia or the superyacht yards of Viareggio.
What clients can expect on a visit
A typical first meeting at our Porto Maurizio office starts with a one-on-one consultation covering brief, budget, timeline and any specific yards, models or locations already on the client's radar. From there we can walk through our current yachts for sale in detail, discuss how to buy a yacht for first-time buyers, or move into more specific work such as technical reviews or charter planning. Many of our in-person meetings end on the water: a visit on board a listing berthed nearby, a tender transfer to a yacht outside the harbour, or a short shipyard visit along the coast.
The full Divo Yacht service range, delivered from one place
From the Porto Maurizio headquarters we deliver the entire Divo Yacht service set. That includes brokerage and central agency, new-build representation, yacht management, owner's representation, concierge services for cruising owners, and technical coordination and refit oversight. The luxury store and curated retail collection is also based here for clients visiting in person. Clients who work with us do so through one continuous relationship rather than handing off between specialised departments: the team that sells a yacht is the same team that supports the owner through the first season afloat.
Sailing out of Imperia and the Ligurian Riviera
For owners based in Imperia or the Western Riviera, the cruising grounds in reach of a morning departure are unusually varied: Monaco and the Cap Ferrat anchorages to the west, Portofino and the Cinque Terre to the east, and Corsica across a short overnight run. Porto Maurizio has always been one of the quieter bases on this stretch of coast, which is part of its appeal. Our headquarters is the physical embodiment of the same idea: a working office on the right piece of water, with the right contacts and the right team, close enough to every yard, marina and crew network on the coast to make ownership straightforward. We welcome you to visit us in person when your plans next bring you to the Riviera.
